Adult Shikoku for Adoption
Adoptable adult shikoku are sometimes Shikoku being retired from breeding or an owner surrender due to hardships. These shikoku are always vaccinated, up to date on vet visits, almost always spayed/neutered and have often been through behavioral analysis to best understand their future needs.
Feel free to inquire about an adult shikoku. Adopting an adult shikoku can have it's pro's and con's. Adult shikoku can sometimes require more time to adapt to their new home so an owner with patience and dog experience is often required. It's also a good idea for those interested in an adult to be within driving distance so if things aren't working out they can easily be returned.

Kenshin is a 4 year old Shikoku that will be available for placement as co-own/guardian or retired pet home.
He had a guardian home previously but came back to us due to unfortunate family situations that are no fault of his own. He is very sweet and friendly with people. He is fully health tested and has contributed back to the population. He would make a good dog for a novice who wants to get into showing or a good family dog.

Rue is a young adult shikoku, 14 months old, that will be available for placement as co-own/guardian or pet home. She is one of 4 that we have kept in program for further evaluation and while we would love to keep them all, it is just not possible. She has had preliminary health testing done and has great health, no issues, she's passed everything so far. She's a very sweet and friendly shikoku, confident.
